The Clear Stream Family is an environmentalist commune, which has lived in the hamlet of Brezovica on the foot of Mt Rudnik for 25 years. The commune was among the pioneers of the return to nature; its effects are alternative and its home is open and motivated by survival. The family lives in a small place and cherishes soul and humaneness, expressing a lot of emotions and exchanging hugs. Its basic elements are: ECOLOGY – HUMANENESS - CULTURE.

The Family lives in the nature and its home is surrounded by three streams. It has so far been visited by more than 20,000 people. The family's main principles are: the Individual and the Planet.

Božidar Mandic, an author who founded this commune, has so far published 13 books, had ten individual exhibitions and made ten alternative plays. The Family has had a lot of influence on young people because of its way of life. Media reports on the Family have always promoted this way of life among the widest circles.
The Clear Stream Family opposes the senselessness of civilisation, striving for the 5 E's: Ecology, Ethics, Aesthetics, Eros and Emotion. It proposes a way out of the rat race.
